- For Members of Indian Forest Service: Serving member of Indian Forest Service with 26 years of service completed with references or allotment.
- For scientists interested to apply, first class Master Degree in Agriculture and Allied Sciences or in Basic Sciences/Forestry & Allied Sciences/ Social Science from a recognized University along with a 26 years of service with reference reckoned to the date of Group A Scientist appointment, and 15 years of experience in Forestry Research/ Extension or Education.
For Dy. Director General ( Admin.)
- For Members of Indian Forest Service: A working member of Indian Forest Service with 26 years of service completed with reference or allotment.
- For scientists: first class Master Degree in Agriculture and Allied Sciences or in Basic Sciences/Forestry & Allied Sciences/ Social Science from a recognized University along with a 26 years of service with reference reckoned to the date of Group A Scientist appointment, and 15 years of experience in Forestry Research/ Extension or Education.
