Salary: Pay Scale of Rs.5910-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400/- (with initial start of Rs.9880/- per month) plus usual allowances as admissible from time to time.

Responsibilities:

1. Operating and driving CTU buses in a safe and efficient manner
2. Ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and road safety standards
3. Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of the bus
4. Ensuring the safety and security of passengers on board
5. Reporting any accidents or incidents to the relevant authorities
6. Maintaining proper records of trips and related paperwork
7. Assisting passengers with boarding and alighting from the bus
8. Conducting regular inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition
9. Performing any other duties as assigned by the authorities

Requirements:

1. The candidate should have a valid driving license for heavy transport vehicles (HTV).
2. The candidate should have completed at least 10th standard or equivalent from a recognized board.
3. The candidate should be between 25 to 35 years of age as on the closing date of the application.
4. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in driving heavy transport vehicles.
5. The candidate should have a good driving record and no history of accidents or traffic violations.
6. The candidate should be physically fit and able to perform the duties of a driver.
7. The candidate should be able to read and write in Hindi and Punjabi.

Selection Process:

The selection process for the Driver position will include a written test and a driving skill test. The candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for the driving skill test. The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in both the tests and their overall suitability for the job.
